I was disappointed by the bland furniture and decor, and the AC was frustrating. It’s fixed at 22 degrees and can’t be adjusted, which made it hard for me to sleep. Opening the windows brought in street noise, and when the wind blew, there were other noises too. They advertise parking, but the receptionist said their parking area was tiny and sent us to a public lot instead. We got a paid ticket, and it was a bit of a trek back to the building with our luggage. The pillows were thin, with no extras in the room. I won’t be coming back.

The apartments were spacious, but that was about the only positive. There was rubbish left by a previous guest, and both the bed cover and quilt were stained. The empty fridge still smelled awful. The photos on booking.com looked like they’d been taken a long time ago. Worst for me was the AC switching itself on whenever it wanted, set to heat, with the controls locked so I couldn’t change anything. Breakfast was included and served in the hotel restaurant, but there were no vegetables.

The staff were fantastic, and the place was nice, with really well-equipped kitchens. I spent my mandatory quarantine week here. Breakfast runs from 7 to 10, so get there early, since they run out of some things close to ten.

We stayed in the blue room, which was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful, and there was a garage too.
