Amazing cakes!!!

We spent a long weekend here as a family and came away very pleased. Our little daughter was looked after so thoughtfully: they sorted out a small extra kitchen for warming her breakfast milk, a little pasta box for lunch, and a suitable dinner dish, all without us having to ask. The food was excellent. Dinner had a fixed but wide-ranging menu, including one or more local specialties. Breakfast, served at the table instead of as a buffet, was disappointing for both amount and variety. The room was large, clean, and had a comfortable bed; the balcony view was so calming to look at. I wasn't keen on the shower that only opens partway, but the hairdryer was a proper powerful one, which you don't often find. If you don't need the traditional luxury spa facilities offered by some other hotels, this is a great choice. Highly recommended!

The five-course dinners each evening were lovingly put together, and we especially liked that the ingredients were regional and seasonal. Breakfast was also fantastic, with fresh fruit, lots of breads, sausage, cheese, jam, and muesli. We stayed six nights at Hotel Zum Löwen-Post and had a wonderful time. The rooms were quiet and clean, the beds very comfortable, and the view lovely. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back!

The hostesses were friendly, attentive, and the place was clean. It's in a great location, though the underground parking is a little way from the hotel. I'd recommend booking half-board, it's worth it.
