Rachele was a wonderful host. She shared lots of restaurant recommendations and tips for places in and around Tropea, was always available for questions, and helped us whenever we needed it. She gave us a guidebook, lent us a beach umbrella, arranged a rental car, and made delicious breakfasts every day. We loved a week at Il Palombaro, a sweet family-run B&B with a beautiful garden. Our room was spotless and just right for two, with an incredible terrace and sea view. There's a small, lovely bay nearby, reached only by climbing over rocks. The city center is a 20-minute walk away. We enjoyed every minute of our summer holiday and would gladly return. Highly recommend Rachele's Bed and Breakfast.

After enjoying Tropea, it was easy to come back here for a restful night. The water is nearby, and the neighborhood is pretty quiet, though a dog across the street barks now and then. But what neighborhood doesn't have that? The staff, bed, atmosphere, and food were all so good, I wanted more!

It's always a lovely stay at Il Palombaro. Rachele makes guests feel welcome, pays close attention to what they need, and is full of thoughtful touches. She's also a great pastry chef, baking cakes every day. Breakfast is generous, with both sweet and savory choices made from quality ingredients. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped, and spotless. The location is outside the historic center, which makes it quiet and relaxing while still being handy for visiting the beautiful nearby beaches. A wonderful holiday, as always!

Breakfast in the garden was generous and just right, and the place was kept spotless with daily cleaning. The woman who runs the B&B was especially warm and kind. It was disappointing that the nearby beach had closed after a collapse. I hope it gets repaired and access improves; otherwise you’ll need to drive to the other beaches, though they’re worth seeing for the lovely sea views. Well done!
