Breakfast was freshly made every morning, and Umberto's mom made cake. The staff were kind, caring, responsible, and able to answer every question. I booked two separate rooms, Flora and Poppea Junior Suite, by emailing Julia and Umberto. During our week, Umberto smoothly arranged our move into the second room. The location was perfect, the rooms were comfortable with AC, TV, and great mattresses, and the service made the stay so positive and memorable. It was everything I imagined. We can't thank you enough and hope to see you again!

Our family room was on the 3d floor, and there was plenty of space. Having air-conditioning was especially important, it saved us from the heat. The owner is friendly, helpful, and just a good person. We had nothing to complain about, it's a very good place to stay!

The location is perfect, and the service is amazing. Owner Umberto really looks after you, and the front desk guy is very helpful. Breakfast is available as an option each morning. A perfect hotel for Tropea.

Umberto made us feel right at home, and this was the best experience I had in Italy during my 3 week stay. My family and I were there in July 2023, in a lovely room with 2 beds and a terrace. The place is clean, full of history, and the staff are incredible. It's in the middle of the beautiful town center, surrounded by shops, great restaurants, and nightlife. The famous rails overlooking the beach are just steps away, and the stairs down to the beach take only a couple minutes to reach. I won't stay anywhere else when I visit tropea. I've found my home away from home.

We spent 3 nights at Donnaciccina bed and breakfast. Umberto was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to help my family because my mother has mobility issues. Breakfast was very good, with some made to order options, and the location can't be beat.
