Borgo Sanguineto was a wonderful place to spend a week. Our apartment had everything we needed, with a lovely country house feel, and sat among greenery and peaceful surroundings. The pool was invaluable on warm days; it was always clean and had a stunning view over an olive grove and Lake Trasimeno. From the apartment, you can also look out over the hillside and Lake Trasimeno, which is beautiful at every hour. It's conveniently located for visiting Assisi, Spello, Perugia, Isola Maggiore, and Castiglione del Lago. And if you love cats, it's a special spot, there are so many around, each more beautiful and cuddly than the last.
