Lakefront Glamping w/ Views

We knew most of the campground activities would be closed for the season, and the evening was quiet. Sitting by the lake with that beautiful view was lovely. We were touring Italy in a rented campervan and stayed just one night. A friendly young man showed us to our pitch right away. The campers are parked very close together, which isn't our usual preference, though we enjoyed meeting and chatting with people nearby. I imagine the place gets busy with families in summer.

There’s plenty for kids, adults, and dogs here, including pools, sports fields, a stage, a bar serving ice cream and pizza, and roomy pitches. Everyone we met, at reception and in the restaurant, was warm and approachable. When we needed something, people tried to help, and one of the camping village managers even got us a table at a really good restaurant. Everything felt easy, and our dog was happy too.

After a family emergency kept us from reaching our reservation, we were charged a no-show fee. We hadn't been able to cancel or get in touch before check-in. I contacted Camping Village Punta Navaccia afterward to explain and see if anything could be worked out, but the reply was rude and unhelpful, then they stopped responding altogether. I was deeply disappointed by the way this was handled.

I came back after 20 years and still had a great time. The people are kind, it’s a lovely place, and there’s always entertainment at the campground for younger guests. There are also lots of nice places to visit nearby. I’d love to return again.
