Appartamento Conte Verde 1756 - Storie e Dimore

We wished we could have stayed longer in this lovely part of Italy. The food, scenery, and wine were all beyond what we expected, and the apartment itself was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. It’s in a beautifully renovated historic building with wonderful attention to detail. Chiara, the owner, and Christina, the property manager, were both attentive and quick to respond to every question.

We changed our plans from a hotel once I found this little gem, even though we’d wanted breakfast included. The apartment is just as pictured and really spectacular, with lovely furnishings and careful attention to every detail. It’s right in the center, near the main sights, shops, and great places to eat. There are breakfast bars and several restaurants just downstairs, too. Even with a demonstration in the square on April 25th, the windows kept the apartment completely quiet. Chiara was always available and made sure everything went smoothly. We couldn’t have found a better location.

The rooms are comfortable, the furnishings are modern, and the service was magnificent. It’s a gorgeous apartment on a magical street, looking out over a beautiful square. Staying here made time feel like it had stopped, and Chiara’s kindness and readiness to help made the whole experience special. We’ll be back soon. Marcobaleno Florence.
