Breakfast was very basic, just cookies and a few yogurts in a shared kitchen. There was no kettle, only a saucepan on the stove for boiling water; the owner said, "that’s how it’s done in Italy". There was no microwave either, which was a real inconvenience for travelers. This felt like a private apartment setup, with no hotel sign, reception or separate entrance. The self-check-in was a hassle: the key was in a box attached to a fence 100 meters away, difficult to find, especially at night with luggage. Getting to the room was confusing too, with several transitions involving stairs, an elevator and unlabeled corridor doors. The room door opened onto a narrow corridor with poor sound insulation, so you could hear every guest coming and going. The bathroom was clean but poorly laid out, with nowhere for toiletries by the sink and shampoo and shower gel outside the shower cabin. I'd avoid this place. For a few euros more, you can stay in a proper hotel with the service, comfort and facilities you'd expect.
