The internet was the one frustrating part of our stay. It was barely usable, so I often switched to cellular data. I can't say whether it was a temporary problem, and I didn't mention it to the owner since using my phone was easier. Otherwise, the location is hard to beat. Our spacious room faced Carlo Alberto but stayed fairly quiet, and it remained cool even in the heat outside. There was a large TV, and the modern bathroom had a comfortable shower. Breakfast suited me well, with delicious croissants, several kinds of yogurt, cereal, fruit and other sweet things, plus coffee, cappuccino and tea. If you want a big selection of meat or eggs, though, it may not be for you. I'd stay again.

Carlo made us feel very welcome, and he's a great host. The room was lovely, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom had a really good shower. I can't find much to fault.

Even after I told the host, the room still wasn't clean. It was filthy.

The room was small, but new and kept in excellent condition. The location was great.
