The couple who welcomed us for our one-night stay were very nice and helpful, and the place is near buses and the train station. But our room and bathroom were cold, with no way for us to adjust the heat. There was dust and hair on the sheets, which made me think the room hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. The owner's behavior that morning really spoiled the stay. He kept pressing us about tax and documents, then insisted we leave before 10 even though Booking.com listed departure hours as 10:30-14:30. Breakfast was included, but we didn't even have time to eat it. At 9am he tried the door to our locked room and swore when he couldn't get in. That's completely unacceptable and unprofessional. We hadn't been told beforehand that we'd need to leave so early, and we wouldn't have booked if we had known. The rest of the service was decent, but what happened on departure morning really threw us off.

The couple were very hospitable and spoke good English. The room was clean, with one king bed, one single bed, and a private bathroom. The location was okay, though not especially close to either the train station or the center, which is why I didn't rate it higher. There was no A/C, but I didn't need it during my visit. You'd want it if you came during a heat wave.

I got a confirmation email and booking number after reserving through the B&B website, then the owner messaged to say they had no availability. They had assigned me the only available option, a quadruple room for single use. That's unspeakable. I don't see why they advertise online if they then deny the booking.

What left us unhappy was the mismatch between what we booked and where we actually slept, followed by the dispute with Booking.com and the owners. We had paid for a room with breakfast and an ensuite bathroom, but were put in a bed in an office, as the owner called it, with neon ceiling lights and a bathroom outside the room. We also encountered other guests staying in the property. We were told on arrival that this was an annex of "Casa Crema," but only realized the next day that it wasn't the place shown in the Booking.com photos. We raised the issue with the owner and Booking.com. Breakfast meant vouchers for a bar, and on Sunday we had to go to a different one because the first was closed. That wasn't convenient. Guests couldn't control the heating, so when it got too warm the only option was to open the window, letting in Turin air rather than a sea breeze. The owner's husband called after the dispute began and opened with, "If you want to leave, you can leave." There were then calls, messages, and more exchanges with Booking.com and the house/office owners, which made our Turin stay unhappy. We admit we should have reported the room difference to Booking.com on arrival so they could find another solution. Still, we suggest the owners tell guests clearly when arrangements change, to avoid this kind of mix-up. As far as we could tell, this was an annex of B&B "Casa Crema," and when overbooked they use the lady host's former or current office as guest accommodation. We received a refund for only one of the three nights we spent in Turin. Not a good experience. The owner who greeted us was kind and helpful, and explained everything in detail.

Carlo and Marco made our stay especially pleasant through their kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism. I spent some lovely days there and felt at home, even 1,200 km away. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a bathroom equipped with every comfort. Service was excellent, and breakfast had a generous selection of sweet and savory options. Thank you for the warm hospitality.
