B&B Hotel Torino Orbassano

We were comfortable in the room with the extra bed for my 11-year-old son, and I’d gladly stay here again. Breakfast had gluten-free choices, which I was very pleased to find. The staff were lovely and gave us great suggestions for places to visit.

The breakfast buffet is small but has plenty to choose from, and the staff are helpful. They even put together a breakfast box for an early departure. There’s secure underground parking, with EV charging available. For events at Stadio Olympico or Inalpi Arena, tram #10 stops right across the street. It’s a good hotel if you don’t need to be in the city center.

For a short stay in Turin, this is a reasonably priced, basic hotel. The rooms are a good size, with a TV, shower, and small closet, and the bed is comfortable. You usually get one pillow per person, though you can ask for more. The bathroom needs attention: water leaks past the shower curtain onto the toilet area, and there’s some rust in the shower that needs cleaning and renovation. Breakfast was simple. Parking is 5 euro per night.

We had a late arrival because of transport problems, and the hotel was understanding about the delay. A code gave us access to the room and let us into the building after 11pm. There’s a lift as well as stairs. Our room was quiet despite being beside the main road, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It had air conditioning, a safe, smart TV, enough toiletries, and both sizes of towels. The room was cleaner than I expected, and daily cleaning was available if requested with the door tag. There’s a supermarket and a restaurant with great food right next door. Vending machines nearby offer food, drinks, necessities, electronics, pads, and other common medical supplies until 11pm. We didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. Getting into the center took longer. We had no car and relied on public transport, which was rather scarce. Parking is available for a fee.
