Apartment Carlo Alberto

Our stay was awful. The building was being renovated, with all the disruption that comes with the work. The apartment was tiny, under a sloping ceiling that made it uncomfortable, and on the top floor with no elevator. There were 122 narrow steps to climb. The mattresses were uncomfortable and there were no pillows at all. The bathroom had no proper toilet, just a camper-style one. It smelled terrible, and had only a shower with a poorly working hand shower and a small sink. The kitchenette had damaged dishes. From the window we saw scaffolding and a small terrace with loose tiles. The host was rude, made excuses, wouldn’t take card payments, and didn’t reply to messages. When we asked for the towels that were missing on arrival, he told us to look under the bed, suggesting they couldn’t be there even though all the towels were the same size.

The apartment was clean, very nice, and right in the center of Turin. Mr. Carlo was wonderful, kind, and always willing to help with what guests needed. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Turin, you’ve found the best.

The host was excellent, and the accommodation was high quality, with care taken over the details. It’s centrally located and convenient for enjoying all that Turin has to offer. Ask the host for suggestions on where to eat or for shopping options in the city center. Highly recommended.
