The interior is lovely, but the place fell short of what we expected. The B&B's business practices seem very questionable. Without any warning or explanation, they took a large sum from my girlfriend's bank account, claiming we had damaged a blanket, which we clearly hadn't. This was especially surprising since we'd called earlier about an item we'd left behind; they were friendly and said nothing about the blanket or the charge. When we asked about it afterward, they provided no proof or proper receipt, just a bill that appeared to have been written by them. We haven't heard from the B&B since.

GB House has elegant decor and clothes on display that give it a lovely charm, and it could be a beautiful spot for a romantic weekend. But I had a terrible experience. They took 1628.96 from my credit card without my consent. I only discovered it on my bank statement, even though I'd contacted them earlier that day about something I'd forgotten in the room and they hadn't mentioned the charge. After several calls, I got an Italian friend to contact them. They told him I'd damaged a blanket, which I denied. When I asked for evidence and receipts, they sent what I considered a forged invoice. I kept trying to discuss it in a friendly way, but they stopped responding. These people showed no respect or consideration for their guests.

The rooms had an elegance I hadn't expected, and the attention to detail throughout the place is incredible. It's charming, with an excellent location very close to the station.
