Conte Verde 1

Agostino made us feel like we were visiting friends, which is a rare kind of hospitality. He gave us excellent recommendations, never hurried us, and even treated us to some freebies! The food was authentic and delicious, the hospitality was incredible, and the location and price were great too. We visit Italy a couple of times a year and look for local food, avoiding commercial places. We usually never eat at the same restaurant twice on vacation, but we went back to Conte Verde, and noticed other people from the previous night returning too. It's the hidden gem you've been looking for in Torino 👍🏻 Short version: Outstanding!

The food wasn't worth the price. The salad was limp and had no taste, and the ravioli with bitter carbonara was disappointing. I have no desire to go back. Service left a lot to be desired too. We sat at a table, then were told to wait by the entrance while it was cleared. After more than five minutes we ran out of patience. When we spoke to the waitress, she cleared it in two seconds, despite having been doing everything except clearing tables in an empty dining room.

Even if you don't speak Italian, they'll look after you well here. The food is delicious, and the service is warm and friendly. Everything is excellent, highly recommend!

The outside may not look especially shiny, and the restaurant is a little tucked away, but it's definitely worth visiting. It's conveniently located in the middle of the city. Service was spot on, and the servers seemed properly trained. The food and drinks were great, with various desserts and sweet options too.
