The central location was a real plus, and they let us bring our cat, who seemed to enjoy the stay. But I wouldn’t call this a four-star hotel. The rooms looked old and unpleasant, and the corded phone was sticky, probably from built-up dirt. During our three nights, breakfast looked the same each morning. Even the fresh smoothies had been left out for a couple of days and didn’t look reassuring. There was nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries, so I had to leave mine on the floor, which I really didn’t like. All in all, it was a negative stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it for either a holiday or work trip.

The bed was large and comfortable, and the breakfast had a decent selection. Staff were great, though the decor is a bit dated. The hotel is about three minutes from Torino (Turin) Ponta Susan train station. There’s traffic and tram noise at the front, with trams starting around 4-5 am, so keep that in mind when booking. City taxes apply too.

The room was clean and had a modern feel, and the staff were very friendly. It’s well placed for public transport and the city centre. The Egyptian museum is about a 15-minute walk away.

They set the room up nicely for our pet, which we appreciated. The bed was great, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. Lovely place, and I’ll definitely come back.

After touring the city, coming back to an unbearably hot room made the stay terrible. The AC had been switched off in every room. For a four-star hotel, that was a very poor experience.
