Eco Art Hotel Statuto

The garden sitting area is a lovely extra, especially for such a low-priced stay. We rented two rooms with friends. Ours had funky art, sort of Lisa Frank Erotic style, which gave us a laugh and made for a good conversation starter. It was an experience with work by a local Torino artist. I think all the rooms may be decorated by local artists, though I’m not sure. The building smelled fresh throughout. Our room had a cooling system, a complete bathroom, and charging ports by the bed. The only awkward bit was leaving our bags early: we were told we could drop them off, but they ended up sitting on the lobby floor, which didn’t feel very secure. The receptionist seemed to keep an eye on them, though, so it was okay. I’d stay again and recommend it to a friend looking for comfortable amenities at a good price.

Rooms are packed with art, and the prices are very good. The staff were kind and attentive, and the rooms comfortable. It’s well located and managed with sustainability in mind. A great budget stay with high quality.

The room was small, but spotless, so I was happy with it. For a 2 star hotel, the location is really central, with lots of shops and services nearby. The receptionist was kind and told us about the city and some attractions we wanted to see. 5/5.

The location is amazing, with the main tourist spots in Torino easy to reach on foot or by public transport. The hotel itself is very basic, fine if all you need is a bed and a warm shower. There’s no breakfast. The staff only speak Italian. Cleaning mostly meant making the bed and leaving fresh towels, even when we hadn’t asked for them. One night we had no toilet paper in the room, and the night staff couldn’t find any.
