The staff at the hotel are very good, but it feels a bit overpriced overall. If you’re fine without the usual tourist scenery you get walking around the center, the location may suit you. As a woman, I found the area by the river hostile at night when walking alone. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms are warm, but the hotel feels old-fashioned and breakfast doesn’t offer much variety. Around midnight, the neighborhood feels like the Bronx. I’ll try somewhere else next time. In a different area, I’d give it four stars.

There’s no microwave in the hotel, not even in the canteen. I think one should be available with access around the clock.

The hotel is lovely and the receptionists are good. Its location isn’t very good, though.

A decent hotel for a stay, right next to the River Po.
