Breakfast was decent, the rooms were clean, and the location was good. Still, I don’t think I’ll come back. The building hasn’t been renovated in decades, and the lift is out of order and never gets fixed. I was also concerned about safety because large, tall cleaning trolleys are stored on the staircases, reducing the possible escape route.

I stayed two nights at hotel Amadeus Torino, from 11/11/24 to 12/11/24. The location wasn’t bad, but the service was very poor. Our room was on the fifth floor, and the elevator didn’t work. It seemed to have been out of service for a while. We asked to move to a lower floor, but the hotel was full, so we had to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs. Even after two days, nobody had tried to fix the elevator.

The location is really handy, and the breakfast was nice if you’re happy with sugary pastries and not much else worth mentioning. But the hotel feels worn out, even though the room was nicely decorated. The showerhead was clogged with limescale and didn’t work properly, the extractor fan was so loud I had to shower in the dark, and the mini fridge wouldn’t close. It’s cheap for a reason. If the tired feel doesn’t bother you, maybe it’ll suit you.

Everything you might want to see in Turin is a short walk away. The hotel is just a little way from one of the city’s main squares, right in the centre. Rooms are small but quite clean and functional for a short, busy stay. Breakfast is included, with fresh coffee for each guest, and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

My family has used this very good hotel as our base in Turin for work and leisure stops for at least 30 years. The staff are super friendly. Highly recommended, I love it.
