Green Class Hotel Astoria

The staff were lovely and breakfast was perfectly decent. Our room was a reasonable size, and the bed was comfortable enough, though there was some noise from other guests in the hall. The location is fantastic. But a serious warning for plus-size guests: the shower doors only opened a little, and getting through meant squeezing into a gap under 18 inches. If you can’t fit through that, this place won’t work for you.

It’s a charming old-style hotel in a great spot, but the room really needs renovating. Breakfast options were limited.

We could leave our luggage there for the day after checking out, which was handy. The rooms are cleaned daily, and ours was cozy with a comfortable bed. It’s just across from the main train station and a short walk to Cathedral square. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. I’d recommend it, especially for couples.

The location is the main plus, and the receptionist was friendly and professional. The bathrooms are very small and old, though, and the shower didn’t work properly. The walls are poorly insulated too, so we could hear people having “romantic” times in the next room.
