The room was too hot and stuffy to sleep in, and we ended up having to go somewhere else. We couldn’t find any controls, so I went to the desk. The man there said he controls the temperature on his phone and turned it down. A few hours later, when we returned from touring, it was still hot. He came up and cleaned the filter, even though it was already clean, but that made no difference. There wasn’t another room available, and the hotel refused a refund, although the room didn’t meet the basic expectations in the online description. I’m still amazed that guests are expected to have no control over their own room temperature. At check-in I’d parked for free across the street. The desk guy told me parking was 15 euro and asked where I was parked. He said the free street spot wasn’t secure because it wasn’t on their security, though the paid parking was on the street too. It felt like a shakedown, as if I had to pay or something might happen to the car. I guess it’s a bad neighborhood. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The person on duty when we arrived was very polite and helpful with all my questions. I’d asked for parking and they quickly arranged a space for me in a nearby garage. We had a nice stay. It’s definitely not like a usual commercial property.

Tatiana was a great help and lovely to talk with. The staff were considerate and came across as very professional. It’s a small, neat hotel that doesn’t feel overcrowded, with plenty of parking. Our room was modern, fully equipped, and very clean.
