I got a great deal for the price and had a comfortable two-night stay at Hotel Eden. Mine was a single room, so nothing fancy, but I slept well both nights. The reception staff were warm and friendly. It’s a nice family-run place, I guess. The location is great too, with the metro about a five-minute walk away and the tram around two minutes away.

The staff were polite, and my room was warm and cozy with a good shower. Breakfast costs 10 euro, but it’s tasty and you can eat as much as you like, so I thought it was worth it. The hotel is close to the city centre, making it easy to get around on foot or by bus.

We were repeatedly charged extra fees during our stay, with no clear explanation. On arrival they asked for €10 for parking, but by checkout that had somehow become €30, even though we’d stayed less than 48 hours. The hotel advertised breakfast as included, then told us it wasn’t when we got there. Our room also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which made the stay even less pleasant. Very disappointing, with poor management and deceptive pricing. I strongly don’t recommend it.

Being so close to the University of Turin makes this a handy place for students and professors. The rooms are clean and looked after well, and it’s a nice spot to stay.

There are plenty of decent places to eat nearby, and getting to Nizza metro takes about a five-minute walk. I walked around 35 minutes to Inalpi Arena for the ATP finals, and Piazza Castelle was about 40 minutes away on foot. The hotel is a typical city-centre place with a clean, small double room. Breakfast was continental, with a few choices like cereal and toast. The staff were nice.
