The hotel was clean, and the location was pretty good. The staff were great, too. But the place feels so blah, with bare walls everywhere in the room and public spaces. We had a deluxe room on the top floor, which was large, though the sloping roof made much of it unusable. It had a basic bed frame, sofa, small table and chairs, and a TV, but no pictures or colour. Why not do something with the “Opera” theme? Breakfast was average, and the frittata and quiche were served cold.

The courtyard-facing room was lovely and quiet, and had high ceilings, a comfortable bed and working air conditioning, which we really needed in the August heat. We stayed for two nights and felt welcome and well looked after. Breakfast was very good, too. The indoor parking felt safe and was only a short walk away. It’s a great base for exploring Torino, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

We had a deluxe studio overlooking the courtyard, and it was a lovely place to sit. The rooms are well appointed, and breakfast had a great selection of delicious things. Staff were welcoming and courteous. The hotel is a nice boutique spot away from the tourist bustle, with good bars and restaurants nearby. I’ll definitely stay again.
