Hotel Principi D'Acaja

For years I've sent friends and family here when they visit me. They like the Art Nouveau (Liberty Style) building and the personal service during their stay. It's a unique place for something special in the Liberty district of Torino, and only a minute's walk from the metro. I highly recommend it.

The staff were extremely polite, but I wouldn't rate the hotel very highly, and it doesn't deserve three stars. The old building has charm, but it also comes with problems: the hot water and noise from the street and other rooms. I couldn't sleep well either night. Breakfast was nothing special. Apart from the staff, I didn't find much to like, and I definitely won't return.

The room was big and comfortable, and breakfast was good. Everyone on the crew was super nice. A lovely experience.

It's a beautiful building inside, with gorgeous interiors, nice furniture, and friendly breakfast staff. But I found the place weird and a bit creepy. The neighborhood felt scary, and there wasn't anything interesting nearby or much open in the evening, even on Saturday. The windows had iron grilles and bird wire, so there were no views. The doors are kept locked, and you have to leave your room key when you go out. If you're driving, they also take your car key. Parking is in a tiny gated garden and takes some skill. They couldn't make change for a 50, so we had to go to a bancomat. I wish I'd stayed in the city center near the museums.
