The room was in a great location, and the area felt safe. Inside, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, with toiletries and a hairdryer. The room itself was okay, though we were surprised to find the suite door already open because part of the room was being painted. We got the check-in details on arrival day and had to call someone to let us into the property. Noise was an issue too: we were near reception, another room, and the lift, so there was a lot of foot traffic and sound at all hours. The shower flooded the bathroom after about 10 minutes, so we had to shower quickly or pause and restart.

The location was easily the best part, right by Piazza Castello and close to sights, restaurants, and shops. The room was a good size and came with snacks, water, a stove, plenty of dishes, and a roomy private patio. Towels and sheets were clean, the pillows were comfortable, and there was a rainfall shower, toiletries, and a working elevator. Staff were friendly, and checking in and out was easy. We had a lot of problems, though. The Wi-Fi never worked during our stay, which was especially disappointing since we needed it for flight check-in and work emails. Ants kept coming in from the patio, so we didn't want to open the doors or use the space. The shower drain's badly fitted filter clogged it, sending water across the bathroom floor. The AC was weak and had a sour smell, and didn't cool the small room well. The wall bed felt like a sofa bed, and the mattress wasn't comfortable. The room also wasn't very clean: there was dust on the bed frame cushions, and dust, dirt, and hair on the floor. The kitchenette dishes weren't clean either, and the kettle was dirty. Though the room was called "silent" (Suite La Silenziosa), the reception desk was close to our door, and loud early morning conversations woke us up. With all of that, it felt a bit expensive. It was still a fine stay, and with those issues fixed, the location and room features could make it a great place.

We found the rooms really charming and well equipped, with everything we needed, including a Nespresso coffee machine and snacks. The manager was kind and helpful, and the remote access system meant we could get in at any time. It's also great with kids, since the rooms are very spacious. Even though the windows face the main square, the thick glass keeps things completely quiet. We'd love to come back!

Turin was easy to enjoy from this central spot, and we had no trouble with the shower or internet. The room was big and clean, with a comfortable mattress, coffee machine, dishes, and kettle. The staff were very nice and ready to help throughout our stay. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Turin.

The location was great, but the rest of the place didn't measure up.
