Breakfast was nice, and the place was very clean and good quality. But there was no air conditioning, despite it being advertised, and the room got quite warm. The bed was too short for me at over 185 cm. I couldn’t lie flat, so I slept on my side and woke up sore.

I told the staff in advance that I’d be arriving in Turin at 4 a.m. The person I spoke to said they’d send me the code to enter the lobby while I waited, but nothing came through. I was left cold and scared as two loitering guys walked past smashing glass. If you’re thinking of staying at this hostel, make sure you won’t end up in the same situation.

The breakfast was excellent, and I met some nice people at the hostel and had a good time in the city. The code system worked well, so I could get in whenever I needed. There’s a good kitchen, a good common area and a bus stop close by, which makes getting to the centre easy. The location itself is outside the centre. I was in room 2, beside the main doors, and could feel the movement at night. When someone shut the entrance door, my door moved a little and made noise. The washing machine started running at about 7 AM behind the wall, which disturbed my sleep. On my last day, all the luggage lockers were taken apart from one that was being used for hostel things like cups and games. A staff member was very helpful and cleared it out, even removing a horizontal shelf so I could use it. I was surprised by how much effort he made, and it helped make my last day in Turin really nice.

We were three people and had a very positive stay. The eight-bed shared dorm was well laid out, very clean and had two spacious bathrooms and large lockers. The common room was also quiet, spacious and spotless, with plenty of chairs, tables and armchairs. We didn’t have any soundproofing issues. The receptionist was friendly, kind and happy to help. Check-in was easy and stress-free. Breakfast was very good, with cereal, yogurt, croissants, jams, toast and lots of drinks available throughout the day. Staff kept topping up the buffet. There’s a bus stop right outside, so getting to the city centre is easy, or you can walk there in 40-45 minutes at a relaxed pace. There are also plenty of shops nearby. I highly recommend this hostel and would stay there again if I’m back in Turin.
