Residence Hotel Torino Uno

The rooms are large and have the kitchen I wanted, and there's no parking problem. Even though the place is far from my workplace, I chose to stay here. Staff are helpful and cheerful, and the cleaning team does a very good job. Towels are replaced daily. There's also a fitness room, which you can book for an hour to exercise alone during the covid period.

I spent 14 days here with my twin toddlers and was met with nothing but kindness, help, and understanding. Everyone was welcoming and lovely, from reception to the cleaning and service staff. It was a great stay, and I'd truly recommend it.

The rooms are roomy, and mine had a fully working kitchen, a lovely balcony, and a nice view. It's in a quiet spot away from the busy city center, but buses and trams make getting around easy. The bus stop is right outside, and the tram is a five-minute walk away. You can buy tickets and day passes at the hotel. Staff were courteous and helpful, and breakfast was pretty decent. There's a small public park with a Fontana for drinking water beside the hotel.

The room was dirty, with mold throughout the bath and lots of hair in the jacuzzi system. The heating didn't work. We didn't want to stay and asked for a refund, but the hotelier refused and was impolite. They said they'd clean the jacuzzi, but didn't, explaining that there were no cleaning ladies on the weekend. For the same price as this dirty room outside the city center, we had left the 4* hotel Majestic in the center. I don't recommend this hotel.
