B&B Le Cime 2

We arrived at 3:30pm, and every outdoor table looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. They still looked that way when we left. The food was underwhelming, and we paid 95€ for two portions of gnochi, one portion of fettucine, mixed grill, and some lamb. We were in a decent hurry, so each of us ordered only one secondary dish. The water that was meant to be still tasted like mineral water left open too long, sour to me, and we didn't even get to order regular drinks. The grilled food tasted like scraping char off the grill and licking it. The mixed grill was just four paper-thin pieces of pork and a mystery patty with a wrapper that I really hope was beef. It was still raw in the middle. I also saw in other reviews that the seafood is said to be ordered fresh daily. There was none left when we visited, which I can respect. I've read some of the owner's replies to reviews saying the plates were empty when people left. Of course they were. We paid nearly 100€ to waste an hour and left hungry, even though we hadn't been very hungry to start with. Please don't reply that I haven't posted reviews or don't know how restaurants are supposed to work. I work in the industry myself, and this restaurant needs major improvement. I might come back in a couple of years just to see if anything has changed.

We stopped in several times during our stay in Tuscania and really enjoyed it. The staff were excellent, and I'd recommend giving the restaurant a try if you get the chance.

The place itself was spacious and clean, but the meal felt overpriced for what we got. The fettucine al ragu was too salty, and the frosting on the torta frutti di bosco was tough, probably meringue.

It was really bad 😔
