Our travel agent had booked this hotel two months before the trip, so we were totally shocked to arrive and find it overbooked. They couldn’t accommodate us that day and offered to move us to a lower-class sister hotel outside the city. We couldn’t accept that.

The atmosphere was really comforting, and the staff were amazing. It’s an old-fashioned hotel in a great location, and I’d definitely stay again.

8/10
Check-in was efficient, and the rooms were a decent size. It’s a classic, quite old hotel right in the center of Udine’s historic area, with the basic amenities in place.

8/10
There was nothing about our work trip stay that left us unhappy. The reception and room decor are stylish, and the hotel has plenty of character, fitting in well among Udine’s beautiful buildings. Its location is excellent for visiting the city centre, with bars, cafes, and restaurants all nearby.

10/10
The staff are kind and attentive, and the rooms are kept up well and work nicely. My family and I come to Udine about 4-5 times a year, and we’re always satisfied with this hotel. It’s right in the heart of town, a short walk from the lively, charming piazza San Giacomo, with restaurants, bars, and shops close by. Don’t miss the excellent, classy restaurant at Astoria. I’d only suggest adding USB plugs by the beds. They’re handy these days.
