B&B Hotel Udine

We liked the quiet setting, about a 15-minute walk from the city center. The hotel feels fresh and modern, and everything was clean and well cared for. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the mattress was excellent for a good night’s sleep. The short shower hose made showering awkward. Parking is around 50 meters away, unfenced, and the warning signs say not to leave belongings in the car, so it didn’t feel like the safest choice when traveling with a fully loaded vehicle.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, though the cakes and donuts were much too sugary for me. The price was very reasonable, especially for somewhere just a short walk from the city center. I had a great stay.

The front desk staff were really nice and friendly. The room, though, was extremely small, there was no fridge, and I found the bed too soft and uncomfortable. For what you get, it felt a little overpriced.

At the B&B Hotel in Piacere, the mattresses were solid, the breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. Udine was a different story. The mattresses here have deep dips in the middle and feel worn out and soft, and I woke up with back pain. The coffee had an odd aftertaste I couldn’t place, and breakfast was mediocre. I won’t stay here again.
