Mercatovecchio Luxury Suites

The reception team handled a flushing problem right away and were really pleasant about it. The apartment itself was roomy, with everything we needed, and the courtyard-facing room was peaceful. The building and apartments feel newly renovated and modern. I usually don't love air conditioning, but this one was quiet and set to a comfortable temperature. A place I'd happily recommend.

We were right in the city centre, in a quiet spot inside the no-parking area, and private parking was available at a nearby garage. Once we figured out the route from the car park lift, getting there was easy. Our receptionist was lovely and full of useful advice. She even booked a restaurant and checked the next day whether we'd liked it. The Africa room was very well equipped, with a fridge, coffee machine, dishes and cutlery, plus water, juice and biscuits. There was also a minibar in the fridge that cost extra. It was hot and humid outside, so the air conditioning came in handy. The shower was excellent, the bathroom was separate and stocked with toiletries, and the towels and bedding were good. The bed was comfy, though I found the pillows too firm and would've liked a choice. We'd love to try another room next time. A wonderful stay.

We especially loved the luxury suite. The rooms were lovely, and the location right in the city centre was hard to beat. There's a parking garage nearby too.

We arrived on bikes and the staff were very accommodating. The room had everything we needed, and the location was fantastic. They also pointed us to a restaurant that turned out to be perfect.
