B&B Corte Fidele

The breakfast deserves a special mention: generous and delicious, with local organic produce and homemade dishes. Marianna is a wonderful cook. I agree with the positive reviews, and especially want to highlight how kind and available Marianna and her mother were, as well as their warmth. They made us feel welcome at home right away. It was a lovely experience.

11/8/202 I found this little place on LastMinut, and I have to say I got lucky. It’s a charming Corte, and the friendly, kind people there make you feel at home. The rooms were spotless, well maintained, and cleaned with great care. Breakfast was plentiful, with savory and sweet options, fresh-squeezed juices, and plenty more. I highly recommend it. Sending a big hug from Agnese, Pasquale, and Anouk, my little dog, who felt like the owner of the Corte. Fidele, we’ll be back. See you soon, Marianna, Annalisa, Gabriella, and Pasquale. Marianna and her mother look after their guests with real affection. The rooms are spacious and welcoming, in a carefully restored old courtyard in Ugento’s historic center. I’d recommend this B&B for a holiday in Salento.

My parents had stayed here four times and always spoke highly of it. After visiting myself, I understood why. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and exceptionally kind, while the rooms are large, clean, and beautiful. It’s well placed for the coast, with Torre San Giovanni less than a 10-minute drive away, and also works as a base for exploring inland. If you choose the B&B option, breakfast is excellent and generous. Other places could learn from their example.
