Sonia and her sister Margherita were lovely hosts, and I enjoyed staying somewhere away from the concrete and heavy traffic. The property is about a 10-minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Torre San Giovanni, even though the address says Ugento.

The kids have spent so much time in the pool, which is one of the nicest I've ever used, and the jacuzzi was lovely too. We feel safe here with the electric gate, and the pool and gardens are clearly cared for with a lot of effort. The place is peaceful, beautiful, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Sonia and her sister Gabriella are warm and kind, and nothing is too much trouble. We chose to have breakfast each morning, and for €5 per person it was an amazing spread: bread, pastries, homemade cake and jam, fruit, biscuits, yogurt, coffee, and juice. We're here for the week with our two daughters and feel very lucky to have found it. I'd give more than five stars if I could. Thanks for a wonderfully relaxing holiday!

The white sand beach nearby has clear water. We also really liked the facilities, from the rooms to the pool and jacuzzi. The owner and staff were all very friendly, and their service was excellent, well above what we'd expected.
