Hotel Club Ravezzo

Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety, but the dinner quality could use an update. To me, it didn’t meet Puglia’s standards, and local restaurants serve better food for less. The staff, though, were very friendly and professional. Thanks especially to Nicola at breakfast and Massimiliano on the night reception. The building and rooms feel a little dated, but they’re comfortable and have what you need. There’s a small pool and a rooftop terrace. The location is fantastic, in a quiet village with a beautiful Salento sea. The hotel is 50 meters from the beach, where you can rent loungers and umbrellas and find a bar.

The rooms were very clean, and breakfast was excellent, though the coffee came from machines. Staff were very friendly, and management handled a problem caused by the tour operator correctly, with real attention to guests. I’d recommend Ravezzo without hesitation. It has a few flaws, but plenty of substance. It’s a dated property, not really a modern 4*. There’s only a tiny pool for children and a bar, with no shared TV room or other common space. In the room, the centralized AC had old-style independent controls, but we never suffered from the heat. The old 4/3-format TV was replaced with a more modern one because some channels weren’t coming through, yet only the 6 main channels were visible in the end, and not very well. There’s no pay TV. The shower stall is large, the toilet area minimal. Otherwise, the room was fine, with a fridge, safe, a very comfortable bed and a small terrace, though rooms aren’t all the same. The beach is practically attached to the hotel, which is a huge convenience when it’s just a few steps from your room. It costs a little more than other beaches nearby, but isn’t better than them. Lido Marini is a small resort with a splendid sea and a central position for reaching beautiful places in the surrounding area.

We came back to Ravezzo after a great stay last year and saw improvements in several areas, including the cuisine, general organization and beach bar. Many thanks to Vincenzo and all his staff, Nicola and his talented assistants, and the room service team. Everyone was kind and helpful. Special mention to the artist Massimo.

The food was excellent, and their beach and the people running it made our stay even better. It all came together with the lovely sea to make for an incredible experience. It’s a perfect place for family downtime, and the staff were wonderful from beginning to end: warm, professional and always helpful.
