We wound up here because our friends were staying at the resort. It's a large, pleasant place with a timeshare feel, and there's a nice beach about a 10-minute walk within the grounds. Most guests seemed to be families and older Italians. Don't count on many amenities, though that seems pretty standard in Italy.
I've come to this residential village every summer since 1984. The beach is amazing, the setting is gorgeous, and the food is great. If seafood's your thing, you'll feel right at home. It's family oriented, but there's plenty of nightlife nearby, including Gallipoli.
We're only the neighbors, and even from here the awful noise is nearly unbearable. I honestly can't understand how anyone can spend a vacation there.
The rooms are comfortable and everything is very well organized. Food is very good too, though the cost of living feels a little high, so it's somewhat expensive.
Really great, top-notch.
