Villa Mele

It was a terrible stay and nowhere near what the photos showed. The pictures don't match the residence. The rooms were extremely small, and the photos don't make clear that the kitchen and bedroom are one room. There was no privacy in the apartment or anywhere in the residence, and you couldn't tell which of the five houses you were getting. Everything felt cramped, so it wasn't suitable for families with small children. The pool also didn't look like the pictures, and the floor leading into it was red earth. The barbecue was on the neighbour's balcony. On arrival, nobody properly showed us around, they just rushed past. Reception was unfriendly and disappointing. Payment was cash only. Recycling wasn't handled as described, with glass everywhere. Doors and cupboards made a lot of noise, and the main road was horribly loud at night. The closet for the dishes was full of coffee powder and hadn't been cleaned properly. There weren't enough cooking tools, not even enough to serve spaghetti. We couldn't eat outside until it got dark because of the sun, and there was nowhere to sit inside. The first time I opened the closet for the time, it broke, and he blamed us. The stuff was really poor quality. It really wasn't worth the money. They took the money and marked it as cancelled on Booking. This is fraud. It felt like they just took the money and didn't care.
