We were ten people and a dog, and all felt at ease here. The setting is peaceful, with a nice outdoor pool and a big area for playing. I’d happily recommend it, though the house needs some attention. The mattresses should be replaced, and the showers are so cramped they're nearly impossible to use, let alone turn around and wash in.
The landlord was friendly and polite and gave us suggestions for the area. The garden and countryside around the house are idyllic, but the house could use an update. The mattresses are very old, the kitchen is small for the number of bedrooms, and its extractor fan doesn't work. Bathrooms feel dated, and the shower isn't suitable for people who are overweight. Gas and electricity added more than €400 to the cost for one week.
The villa was pleasant and spotless, though it has a few easily fixable drawbacks. With so many guests, the kitchen is small, and the busy ground floor has no bathroom. There are also no mosquito screens on the bedroom windows, even though the countryside is full of bees, wasps, horseflies, and similar insects.
It's a nice villa all in all, but the costs aren't laid out very clearly. The deposit seems more like an estimate for utilities, since gas and electricity are billed separately at the end of the week, around €300. The initial cleaning also wasn't up to German standards.
A lovely spot for a holiday where you can properly unwind!
