The setting is lovely, but for us the stay didn't feel worth the money, and we won't be back. We thought the way the room prices rose to 200 after our large party was mentioned, along with the lunch bill, made the business feel greedy and like we'd been tricked. Several friends felt the amount was embarrassingly high for what we ate. There were well over 30 of us for lunch with friends. We were told the portions would be halved because we were sharing all the dishes. The rice amounted to one generous spoonful, there were literally three ravioli per person, and the grilled meat was just a piece of sausage and a little meat each. We were charged almost 60 euro each, roughly 2000 euro in total. We weren't shown a bill, only told the amount to pay, and when we asked how lunch could cost so much, the conversation got heated. Other parts were pleasant enough, but rooms were standard, with a nice yet rather small view. At 150 euro per night, access to the spa wasn't included, just the outdoor pool. The spa cost an extra 26 euro per person. Breakfast was nice, with handmade pies, although the savory options could be better.

It took only a little while for this secluded Villa & Spa to grow on us. There are ten bedrooms, each with its own entrance, and you can choose BB or half board. Meals are generous, the wines are made on the premises, and there's also a la carte dining on the panoramic terrace. The Spa is 100 mt away, which means you don't spend the whole day in the villa. It has three thermal-water pools with bicarbonate calcium, said to be good for the skin, each kept at a different temperature. The bar stays open until 7 pm, and there's a light lunch available in the shade. The staff were friendly and always tried to make our requests happen. We'll be back!

A real hidden gem in the mountains just outside Umbertide. The setting and site are fantastic, and the spa has everything you need to unwind. It also has wonderful healing properties. A must if you want to forget about it...

There isn't a lot to do, but it's a nice place for a relaxing day.
