B&B Ca' Gialla

We spent a significant amount, and grocery costs piled up because we had to buy breakfast ourselves when the little that was provided ran out. For 16 nights, we'd agreed by phone to have breakfast and use of the washing machine, drying rack, and kitchen. But after the second day we ran into problems, especially rudeness from the cleaning staff. We were given four packaged snacks, and had to ask every time for coffee and milk. The milk came in a 500ml carton, and this wasn't proper breakfast. My boyfriend's work hours meant he needed to rest after coming home. The cleaning lady, who was also his wife in this family-run business, rudely told me there were specific times I had to respect, though nobody had told us about them. I politely said I'd do the cleaning myself, but she didn't give me the right supplies. There was dampness in the house. The owner rightly said we shouldn't hang clothes indoors, and we didn't. I only went back to the drying rack once the clothes were dry. We also got told off for running the air conditioning, even though we only used it one night because of personal problems and the heat. I don't think that's right if you're making a whole house available and letting guests use everything. I won't go back under those conditions. Is this really a B&B? I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

The owner was very kind and helpful, and gave us tips on local places and products. Parking out front was convenient, and the apartment was clean and cozy. We had a sweet Italian breakfast. The location works well for visiting both Montagnana and Villa Correr. My partner and I stayed for Halloween night, and we'd recommend it.

The breakfast was ready for us and there was plenty of it. Our small apartment had everything needed for a stay of several days, including a refrigerator, washing machine, and kitchen utensils. It was very clean, with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. There was storage for my e-bike, too. We walked to a good takeaway pizzeria in town, but restaurants are a bit far, so a car is handy. Montagnana is 5 km away, which is too far for us to cycle in the evenings.

The room was spotless even in the hard-to-reach spots, and the owner was very kind. They took care of the little things too, with clean towels, a bath gel kit, and enough breakfast supplies for our second day. It's in a small village about a 5-minute drive from montagnana. Highly recommended.
