B&B Caserta

The breakfast was fantastic, and Mrs. Caserta even made desserts for us on a few days. Everything tasted great. We stayed three days, and the room was kept tidy daily, with the bed made and fresh towels. The room itself is simple but has air conditioning and cooking basics like salt, pans, pots, plates, and cutlery. There's a big parking area right outside, handy if you've rented a car or motorcycle, plus a veranda with a drying rack, table and chairs, and deckchairs. Iliad internet doesn't work here, as in much of the island, but Wi-Fi is available. The owners picked us up and returned us to the port. Payment can be made by card or cash, either at the beginning or end of the stay. They also let us leave our bags after returning the keys, and we could rinse off in the outdoor shower before taking the last hydrofoil. Thanks to their help, we booked a boat trip and rented a great 125cc scooter. Ustica is fantastic, and the value for money is hard to beat.

The B&B is about a half-hour walk from the center, but it's well placed for swimming along the coast from the lighthouse upward, or for walks inland. It's a lovely spot to relax with nature and cicadas all around. The couple who run the apartments were warm, helpful, and full of tips, and chatting with them over the generous breakfast or before heading out for a swim or walk felt easy. I really did feel at home. Transport is handled either by the owner, who takes you to the port on arrival or departure, or by buses that pass right outside. We only managed two nights, sadly, and I hope to return soon.

Great choice, no doubt! It's outside the center but close to the swimming area, a really good balance. The rooms are very comfortable and have lots of useful things that make the stay easy. Breakfast was generous and had fresh produce, including strawberries from their own garden. Sig.Carmela and Sig.Enzo are very helpful. I'd definitely come back to Ustica for another holiday.

Carmela and Enzo make this place feel like family, with a warm, genuine welcome and so much care in everything they do. It's a quiet little oasis in a lovely natural setting, and the whole house is spotless. Breakfast has quality seasonal ingredients and something for every taste. I left feeling pampered and recharged. If you want to take in the island, ask Carmela where to rent a scooter. She'll point you in the right direction.
