The residence is lovely, with friendly staff and rooms that are good for a 3-star place. There’s a bar downstairs, though, and the music and concerts can be noisy until after 1 a.m.

The island is lovely, though I’d suggest a short visit in October if you’re not there to dive. I missed having a sandy beach or an easy way to get into the sea, like a ladder. I did have a very quiet holiday. The hotel is well located in a nice building, with clean, good-sized rooms and a beautiful sun terrace. It seems a great choice for divers. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a great place to stay in October: the main house was closed, the pool was empty and covered, there was no staff around, and no umbrellas were left on the terrace for sun protection.

Great harbour view, friendly staff, and just a short walk from the town center.
