Holiday Home Il Borgo Degli Agrumi

We had a very pleasant four-day stay in the Pompelmo apartment at Borgo deli Agrumi. The owner was already waiting when we arrived and welcomed us warmly, then showed us around and explained what we needed to know. It’s in a small, quiet village with a beautiful view, and everything was clean as new. We especially appreciated the washing machine and dishwasher with our small child. There’s also a large garden, two terraces, and lots of lemon plants. Before the trip, I booked about a week ahead and asked a few questions and made small requests about a cot, parking, and other things. The owner was open to them and did her best to help. Finding the apartment in Uzzano Castelo was easy, about 150 meters from the village entrance. The one minor downside was the private parking. Getting to the space meant driving down a narrow, steep alley with very little room to maneuver. My Ford Mondeo Mk IV isn’t a small car, and there was about 10cm on either side as I went down. I had to inch around the turn, and it took roughly 20 minutes to park without damaging anything. Still, there’s parking for about 20 cars in front of the village gate, just 150m from the house, so we left the car there and that worked fine. We enjoyed the stay a lot and will probably return. Because of the parking, I’d rate it 4.7/5, rounded up to 5.
