The setting is beautiful, with a lovely landscape around the pool and a terrace where we had a fantastic breakfast. Service was very friendly, too. Meran, Bozen, and Kalterer Lake are all nearby. A super nice hotel.

The host was wonderful, and breakfast was good and included. We also had access to a private beach by the lake. It’s a great base for walking to both Kaltersee and the Leuchtenburg, and for driving to hiking routes farther afield. Simple accommodation at a great price, with parking and WiFi.

Verena looked after us so well and always had recommendations. She’s also got a great sense of humor. The people here are welcoming, and the generous breakfast, excellent pool, and superb wines were all lovely extras. It’s such a peaceful place among the vineyards and apple orchards.

Breakfast was carefully prepared, with plenty of quality options, and the cleaning was meticulous every day. The rooms themselves are basic, though. The location among the vineyards is superb, and the infinity pool is magnificent. There’s no air conditioning or mosquito nets, so opening the windows in summer can be a problem. One other small drawback: the staff don’t speak English, which made communication difficult.

We had a wonderful holiday in this peaceful guesthouse among the vineyards. The garden and pool are lovely, the wine is good, and the people are friendly. Breakfast was both generous and tasty.
