L'Antica Quercia

We left disappointed by the way the stay was organized and managed, even though the staff were kind and helpful. During the night, a power cut made things less comfortable, after we had already found the heating inadequate, the hot water out at first, and hygiene problems in the bathroom. The rooms themselves were mostly renovated, clean, and comfortable. We had rented the dining room separately for New Year's Eve dinner, but its heating was switched on too late and it never got warm enough, even though we'd mentioned the small children. We had to move to another space in the building, which made renting the room pointless. Maintenance took our complaints seriously and were courteous and helpful, even on a holiday. The overall response didn't offer a practical fix or suitable compensation. There was confusion from the booking stage too, since the website prices didn't match what we were actually charged. It's a shame, but based on what happened, we can't recommend the property.

The breakfast was exceptional, and the rooms were beautiful, very clean, and the staff were always ready to help with any request. We stayed for the weekend and will definitely come back.

Three other families we're friends with joined us for a weekend in Basilicata, and we stayed at this magnificent B&B. It was super clean, everyone was friendly and helpful, and the value for money was excellent. Thank you.

Mrs. Loredana deserves a lot of credit for looking after everything, from breakfast to cleaning. She's kind, tireless, and exceptional at her job. The breakfast isn't homemade, but it was good and had a bit of everything. We stayed for two nights to go to the Storia Bandita Parco della Grancia festival. Getting there from this location was easy, and the area was quiet. The rooms were perfect, recently renovated, and spotlessly clean, with a color TV, instant air conditioning, a large shower, a fridge stocked with juice and water, and a safe. Definitely recommended.
