Breakfast was the highlight for me: fresh scrambled eggs with a tasty seasoning, good coffee, and homemade cakes from Ms Laura. She’s lovely, and I really enjoyed our chat. The room was comfortable, with a kitchen and a large bathroom. Everything was so clean, from the entrance and stairs to the rooms. Forno Di Zoldo (Val Di Zoldo) feels like a hidden gem, and B&B Ai Lali is a great place to stay.

The woman who runs this cosy place is so welcoming and makes sure you’re comfortable. It’s affordable and has a relaxed, informal feel. I’d recommend it.

A disastrous experience. We made our booking in December, but nobody let us know until June 10th that the place would shut at the end of the month. There’s no catering, and the building is old, run-down, dirty, and dusty. If we’d known sooner, we would have moved elsewhere. It was disgraceful, and perhaps not very honest.

The room I stayed in had a well-equipped kitchen, an automatic pellet stove, and a sleeping area in a small inner room separated off by a curtain. Use of the kitchen costs an extra €10 per day. Breakfast was good and served in a room on the third floor. The B&B isn’t in a particularly outstanding spot, though there are some nearby forest walks, and a ten-minute drive gets you to more challenging and interesting hikes. The host is kind, welcoming, and always available, which made this a very positive stay.
