Appartements Hofer

Our expectations were honestly lower than the photos and competitive prices suggested, so this turned out to be a lovely surprise. We stayed in a one-bedroom type C apartment in summer 2024. The place and even the shared areas were cleaned meticulously. The kitchen corner was very well stocked, with a small fridge and a little freezer compartment that really does freeze things; the dishwasher was compact. There were two nice balconies, one with a Dolomites view and the other overlooking grazing cows, plus a clothes rack. Parking beneath the building was included. The bathroom was spacious, with a bidet and a roomy shower that had a generous water flow. The shutters were motorized, and the owners were available. A small local Coop is a two-minute walk away.

We found the residence beautifully laid out, and its position made it easy to reach the best-known spots in the Pusteria Valley. From June 30 to July 6, 2019, my husband, our 11-year-old daughter, and I stayed in one of the apartments. Mr. Hubert Hofer was very kind and helpful, showing us to our place as soon as we arrived. It was spacious, attractive, well cared for, and very clean. The furnishings were new, and the soundproofing was very good. We had all the kitchenware and bathroom and bed linens we needed. Parking was ample and convenient, and there’s a small supermarket 100 meters away, so we could shop without moving the car. The value for money was excellent. Recommended.

It was quiet, clean, cozy, and comfortable, and we had a private sauna. The apartment had a kitchen with all the cookware and tableware needed, plus a dishwasher. The hosts were friendly, and the location worked well: a grocery shop is 100 meters away, the train station is a 20-minute walk or at most five minutes by bus, and the ski bus stop is opposite the Kronplatz Hotel.

We felt at home in Apartment D and would be glad to return. The landlords were kind and attentive, and the apartment was clean, spacious, and equipped as described. The location was handy, with a Naves/Coop supermarket around the corner where fresh rolls are available from 7:30 a.m. The ski bus stop for line 22, Hotel Kronplatz, is just under 100 meters away. We can only recommend it.
