There was plenty to keep us busy nearby, and the kids' club had lots of fun things to do. We found the staff helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the food excellent. It's a very family-oriented hotel, and we'd definitely like to return.

The kids' club was a real hit with our 6 and 9 year old children. They felt welcome and enjoyed joining in activities. We could rent bikes and helmets directly from the hotel, and using the pools to unwind after days out was lovely. The lake nearby was out of this world, Fun bob was great fun, and the mountain barefoot trail was enjoyable apart from the bark that left us with a few splinters. We had a beautiful room with a big jacuzzi bath and a balcony. Breakfast had pastries, fruit, cereal, freshly cooked waffles and more, and we liked making our own juice with the juicers. The show kitchen was a nice touch. The food was incredible: breakfast was great, and at dinner the salmon wellington, risotto and walnut cake with sour cream ice cream were amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our fabulous stay at Hotel Fameli. We had the best time and will definitely be back.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and both my husband and I would love to return, especially in summer to try hiking nearby. Our stay at Hotel Fameli was wonderful. It's clearly set up for families, so there was some hallway noise, though it didn't bother us. The childcare was lovely. Our 5 year old had a blast, while our 2 year old wasn't keen on staying in the kids' area. Having breakfast, a snack and dinner included meant we didn't have to plan every meal. Breakfast offered a nice mix of pastries, omelets, yogurt, fruit and other items. The snack was small cakes and fruit. Lunch was available to buy at the hotel, with a small but delicious menu. At dinner we could choose among three types of cuisine. The Christmas spread was the best meal of our trip, and there was so much food. The other dinners were decent. I'm a picky eater, so I would have liked an a la carte option for adults. Kids can get one for an extra charge if they don't want the chosen menu; my son's cheeseburger was huge and looked delicious. Our room was spacious and clean. The kids loved the bunk beds, having their own little room, and especially the jacuzzi.
