A local recommended this restaurant, and it lived up to it. The fishing harbour view is lovely, and the dining room feels smart. The waiters were experienced, seemed to know the other customers, and were always a step ahead. We were told the seafood was caught locally, and it tasted incredibly fresh. The wild sea bass baked in sea salt was the standout, shared between two of us. Great texture and a delicate taste, and the waiter filleted it skillfully at the table. We couldn't stop grinning.

The seafood was incredibly fresh, the menu tasty, and there's a good wine list. The staff were very nice, and they speak a little English if your Italian lets you down. The gemberoni were fabulous. Lots of locals eat here, which is always a good sign.

We had a wonderful meal by the water as the sun went down. The mixed starter was followed by a few primis, and the squid ink risotto was the clear favorite. The seafood was top quality, some of the best food I've had in Sicily. It's also a neighbourhood staple. The family restaurant has a really warm, wholesome feel.
