B&B Villa Marina

Top-notch.

The villa was a letdown from the moment we arrived. After 15 hours of travel, we walked into a techno party that was meant to finish at midnight but carried on, and we were far too forgiving about it. We paid for the whole villa but could use only a few areas. The kitchen was off limits until we asked, and then we were allowed a coffee machine. We were called rude for taking ice from the fridge and using plastic cups, even after offering to pay. To me, the hosts were the ones being rude to guests who had paid far too much for such a run-down place. The parking area was already small and often taken up by other cars. Getting around to visit nearby places was difficult because of the inconvenient location. The villa was in very poor condition and badly unclean, indoors and out, including the pool, bedrooms, bathrooms, and shared areas. The pool was filthy, and the water hadn't been cleaned or changed. The rooms were dilapidated, the mattresses ruined, and the bathrooms dirty. The sink, bidet, and shower taps barely ran, so we had to wash in cold water. We stayed six nights. It wasn't hospitable at all.

The property is peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by greenery, and its location makes it easy to get around the area. Our spacious, comfortable rooms had a 1970s look. A few things need work, especially the bathroom taps. Cleanliness could be better too: there was no wastebasket in the room, and the linen change needs attention. Ms. Marina was very welcoming and happy to answer our questions.

My wife and I felt well looked after here, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It’s a lovely spot to rest, with beautiful, clean surroundings and the sea just 5 km away.
