Venere di Erice Resort

The view was a dream, the kind of sight we'll never forget. We stayed over Easter in early April and felt welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The staff were all friendly, attentive, and caring, and we could tell they made an extra effort to look after us. We were relaxed and happy throughout our stay. We spent a few hours by the pool, sunbathing, relaxing, and enjoying the spectacular scenery. The view is outstanding, and the staff were professional and kind. It was excellent value for money and far exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Elena for the sightseeing tips. We hope to come back.

The view was amazing, and there was plenty of parking. Rooms were comfortable, very clean, and had cozy beds. The staff were friendly, and breakfast had a generous selection of sweet things. My espresso could have been better by Italian standards, but that wasn't a big problem.

The pool and lounge area were nice, and we enjoyed the restaurant. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room was well equipped, and the location was convenient for town and nearby shops. We also had a small kitchen. Still, I probably wouldn't stay again. The shower was tiny, and the rooms weren't very clean. They didn't do a better job when they serviced ours, either. We could hear washers running above us all night. I lightly bumped my leg against a round marble table while sitting down, and it split in half along a fissure. My husband and I were shocked that such a gentle nudge broke it. They charged me 200 EU, which is $330 in our currency. There were bugs and black mold in our room, yet they wouldn't offer me a deal on a table that may already have been cracked. The location was ideal and the place was generally very nice, but dealing with the staff wasn't fun.
