Guesthouse Seghetto

Just need a place to sleep? This works well. It’s basic, but clean and tidy, and the host is a really nice guy.

This is certainly an experience. Guesthouse Seghetto is in a handy spot for reaching both the Stelvio Pass and Bormio. The host is around and always kind and helpful. The old mountain house has a warm, clean feel and the essentials. The kitchen is well stocked, including detergent, plus a fridge and freezer. The rooms are spacious, with fresh sheets and a towel on the beds. In the dorm facing the street, though, traffic can be heard. There is free parking on site and a water fountain next to the house. The bathroom is shared, in our case with five other guests, so living together peacefully takes common sense and mutual respect.

Comfortable beds and a kitchen with everything needed made this a pleasant stay. The guesthouse is on the first floor of a traditional building, and the place is clean and cozy. The owner is extremely kind and helpful, doing their best to make the stay enjoyable. The price matches the quality of the accommodation very well.

We spent two nights here and had a positive experience, even though a few things could be better. The rooms are nice, the stove heats them well, and the cooking essentials are there. But the shared bathroom was missing toilet paper and everything else, and the beds and slats are a bit old.
